Dakto:
Dakto borders Ngoc Hoi District to the West, Sa Thay District to the South, DakHa to the East and Tu Mo Rong to the North. Dakto was the name of a hot spring and this is the residential area of Sedang Ethnic group. In 1972, Dakto was a battle field between the North and South of Viet Nam.
Charlie Hill:
Charlie Hill is located between Sa Thay, Dakto and Ngoc Hoi Districts. This location was famous as many intense battles between North Vietnamese Army with American and South Vietnamese Army during the War of Viet Nam and the US. This area also was known as the “dead area” with high concentration of Dioxin that was sprayed by the American Army.
