SiuPuong is a waterfall with a natural landscape that is still wild and majestic, with great potential for developing ecotourism and community tourism experiences. SiuPuong Waterfall is located halfway up the VanPeo mountain range, about 7km from the center of DakNa commune.
The waterfall is 240m high, flowing like a white silk strip, with 5 main floors, each floor is about 10m high on average. The water flows down from above creating white foam, the steam spreads, dispelling all the fatigue and hardship of long-distance travelers.
Around the waterfall, there are many rows of ancient trees and schisandra trees growing in clumps, especially attractive to tourists.
Mr. Vo Trung Manh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tu Mo Rong district, Kon Tum said that developing community tourism around the Siu Puong waterfall area allows tourists to experience and explore local culture and creates conditions for the district's typical products such as Ngoc Linh ginseng, red ginseng, and medicinal herbs such as Solanum procumbens... to be known by many people, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
