The pagoda is located at 245 Tran Hung Dao Street, Quyet Thang Ward, Kon Tum Town, Kon Tum Province. The pagoda belongs to the Northern sect.
The pagoda was built by Venerable Thich Duc Thieu in 1958. The pagoda has experienced 6 generations of abbots, and was restored in 1969 and 1986.
The Buddha hall is solemnly decorated. In the middle is a bronze statue of Sakyamuni Buddha weighing 1,000kg and 1.2m high, cast at the pagoda. In front, there are statues of Amitabha Tam Ton and Bodhisattva Maitreya. The altar on both sides enshrines the statues of Bodhisattva Manjushri and Bodhisattva Pho Hien.
The pagoda currently houses the office of the Buddhist Executive Committee of Kon Tum province.
