Which airline to travel to Kon Tum by plane?
When traveling to Kon Tum, you cannot go directly by plane because Kon Tum currently does not have an airport. Instead, we will catch a flight to Pleiku, Gia Lai first, then take a taxi or bus to Kon Tum city, a distance of nearly 45km, only taking about 1 hour to arrive.
You can buy Vietnamairlines tickets to fly to Pleiku from 3 airports: Noi Bai (Hanoi), Da Nang International Airport and Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh). You also need to note that flights to Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh are available every day, but for Da Nang, there are no flights on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Travel to Kon Tum by bus
To save money than flying, there is a passenger car, every day there are flights from Hanoi, Da Nang, Saigon to Kon Tum. For this, you should go directly to the bus companies or bus ticket agents to buy tickets to Kon Tum.
♦ If departing from Hanoi with Yen Nghia and My Dinh bus stations: ticket prices range from 600-650k, travel time is about 25 hours
♦ If departing from Da Nang, there is a bus station in Da Nang City Center: ticket price is about 180-200k, especially for high-end limousine cars, the price is 300k, travel time is about 8 hours.
♦ If departing from Saigon, there will be Mien Dong bus station to Kon Tum bus station: prices range from 220-300k for sleeper buses with 40-46 seats, especially for limousines around 450-500k, travel time is about 12 hours
Travel to Kon Tum by motorbike
Motorbikes are also the choice of many young people who are planning to travel to Kon Tum because of their convenience and freedom compared to passenger cars or planes. You can travel from Da Nang - Quang Nam - Kon Tum along the Ho Chi Minh route.
According to my experience traveling to Kon Tum, this road is about 300km long, in the middle there are mountains and hills, so there will be very few houses. If you want to admire the beauty of the mountains and forests, follow this road and remember to stop at Thanh My (Nam Giang) for breakfast before continuing the journey, because if you go any further, there will be no place to sell. The food is not like the one down the street.
